Orthodontist Dr. Jay R. Singer | Singer Orthodontics

Dr. Singer graduated from Georgia Tech with highest honors in 1974 receiving his Bachelor of Science degree. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1978. In addition, he completed two years of post-doctoral training at Fairleigh Dickinson University receiving his certificate as an Orthdontic Specialist in 1980. Since establishing his orthodontic practice in 1980, Dr. Singer has maintained an intensive schedule of continuing education to keep abreast of the latest changes in the specialty of orthodontics.

Dr. Singer is Board Certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an associate professor of orthodontics at Nova Southeastern School of Dentistry, Department of Graduate Orthodontics.

Dr. Singer holds certification with New York, New Jersey and Florida State Boards of Dentistry. He holds membership status in many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists, the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists and the American Lingual Orthodontic Association. Dr. Singer is a member of the Cleft Palate Team of Broward County, a division of the Florida Department of Health.

Dr. Singer is presently Vice President of the Broward County Dental Association and President of the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists.

Dr. Singer is married and has one son and one daughter. He is an FAA certified commercial pilot and flight instructor. Dr. Singer has many hobbies including guitar, painting, skiing, scuba diving and tennis.
