Dr. Jay R. Singer has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over 35 years! His artistic eye and attention to detail not only help him recreate priceless works of art – they also help him give you a masterpiece smile!
Dr. Singer graduated from Georgia Tech with highest honors in 1974, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1978. In addition, he completed two years of post-doctoral training at Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving his certificate as an Orthodontic Specialist in 1980. Since establishing his orthodontic practice in 1980, Dr. Singer has maintained an intensive schedule of continuing education to keep abreast of the latest changes in the specialty of orthodontics.
Dr. Singer is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an associate professor in the Nova Southeastern School of Dentistry Department of Graduate Orthodontics. He holds certification with New York, New Jersey and the Florida State Boards of Dentistry. He holds membership status in many professional dental and orthodontic organizations, including the:

- Florida Association of Orthodontists
- South Florida Academy of Orthodontists
- College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists
- American Lingual Orthodontic Association
Dr. Singer is past president of the Broward County Dental Association and past president of the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists. He is current President of the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association (which includes Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties). He is a delegate to the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Singer is an FAA-certified commercial pilot and flight instructor. Dr. Singer has many hobbies including playing guitar, painting, skiing, scuba diving and playing tennis.
